For the past month, we have been reading the Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo. It is a wonderful chapter book about courage which was our character trait for January. As a reward for being such good listeners to our chapter book, and for being great for the substitute while I was at the dentist, we got to watch the movie and eat popcorn and have hot chocolate and spiced tea! It was a lot of fun. We even noticed that movies are often times different from the book!
