The last week of school before our winter break, our school collected canned foods. Our hope was that we could collect more cans than all of the other schools in Northern Colorado so that we could have a Harlem Globetrotter come to our school. We ended up winning this competition and on Wednesday, a Globetrotter came and did tricks for us in the gym. He was so much fun to watch! He even called on students from the crowd to come up and he taught them some tricks. One of our third grade teachers, Mr. Smith, got to go up and do tricks too!
